A: Every other spring, the NCMI hosts a workshop on single particle reconstruction and post-processing (at least we have for a number of years thru March 2007). This workshop covers all of the basics of performing a CTF corrected single particle reconstruction and analyzing the results, and historically has been free of charge (though you must cover your own travel expenses). Check the [http://ncmi.bcm.edu NCMI webserver ]for more details on the next available workshop. |

If you're in a hurry, and the next workshop isn't imminent, just contact sludtke@bcm.edu with your questions (if that fails, you can try stevel@alumni.caltech.edu ). Simple questions can be answered by email or phone, and other arrangements can be made in specific cases where real training is required.
